We are two South Dublin professionals that got together in order to facilitate women from Ireland and the world a rediscovery: Gerovital - the very first anti-aging cream ever created.
Designed in 1952 together with the world's first Geriatric Institute by Professor Dr. Ana Aslan in Romania and since then produced in the laboratories of Farmec in Cluj (former capital of Transylvania), Gerovital cosmetics developed into a brand appreciated by users, dermatologists and international institutions such as the World Health Organisation as "the elixir of life".
We are thrilled by the Gerovital products pioneering, history, global scientific appreciation and recognition and in February 2010 decided to visit the premises of the laboratories and production in Cluj, Romania. Here we were pleasantly surprised to see how the research and development as well as the quality management (ISO 9001:2008 International Quality Certification) are the key elements. This encouraged us to make another step towards a partnership with the company Farmec and represent them on the most western borders of Europe - in Ireland.
We tried different products on our skins: Gerovital Plant Forte Moisturizing Cream, the Eye Gel Contour. David is sailing a lot and has his skin affected by winds and sun. He tried the Gerovital H3 Moisturizing Cream that from the first application turned his skin into a more hydrated and softer one. Not only that we were curious to see the effects of other products (the Aslavital or the Gerovital H3 Evolution) but we started spreading the news about the creams.
In the past many famous people got beauty treatments with Gerovital: John F. Kennedy, Marlene Dietrich, Kirk Douglas and Salvador Dalí to mention a few. The good news is that after 40 years of continuous history, the Gerovital cosmetics convince anyone after the first use. It does not promise eternal youth nor never-ending life, but it guarantees a soft, moisturized, cleaner and younger looking skin. The costs are stripped to the base simply because the producing laboratories point on quality and research rather than on expensive photo shootings and ads on the cover of the magazines.
